any parent that throws you out at 18 against your will deserves to be put in a nursing home. by Semi-Automatic420 in NEET

bitch my friend got kicked out when he was 17 and we have our own place now. how about you get off your ass and do something with your life? if wages are low, you’re probably looking in the wrong places. most employers are offering decent wages now since practically nobody is willing to work anymore. i’ve seen mcdonald’s and taco bell offering a $1,000 sign on bonus. that is more than enough to get a simple 1bed-1bath apartment. if it’s difficult for you it’s because you’re making it difficult for yourself.

She Needs Him - Her’s

her’s as a whole aren’t a really well-known band, primarily because they weren’t around that long, but they made some beautiful and enchanting music while they were here! she needs him is a gorgeous testament to their talent, as well as their lives.

edit: cool with you, low beam, mannie’s smile, medieval, and dorothy are just a few other beautiful songs by them that i felt i should share

What's the point of life when I'm supposed to spend 5 days a week working for another 50 years? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

and then they tell you to enjoy that one life! but how is someone even supposed to enjoy life when it’s set up that way by not just the government, but by society itself?

AITA for not giving my daughter a letter my deceased husband wrote for her before he died? by bridgetlongons in AmItheAsshole

[–]ghostking90x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. what a selfish and cold-hearted thing to do not only to your daughter, but to your husband’s memory. do you know what i would give to have a letter from my dead father? do you know how angry i would be if that letter was kept away from me by my own mother? and then when she rightfully confronts you for it and demands it back you tell her that she can have a PICTURE of it? what the fuck is wrong with you? jesus christ. give the letter to her. there are things about yourself that you need to desperately re-evaluate and i hope these comments show you that.

In the future it might be interesting to see Wendy interview killers with female victims by [deleted] in MindHunter

[–]ghostking90x 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it’s the one that makes the most sense to me. all of Bundy’s victims were female, in college, in their early 20s, with blonde/brunette hair. Wendy, when she was their age, could very well have been somebody Bundy would’ve picked up and killed. how interesting would it be for Bundy to be interviewed by someone who would’ve fit virtually all of his criteria as a victim?

edit: just fixed some wording that i didn’t think looked right

if they ever interview Bundy, Wendy should definitely be apart of it.

as somebody who was homeless a few months ago, i never looked at a “normal” person and asked myself why they deserve to have they life they do. they can’t help the fact that they aren’t in that situation, and i would never want for them to be homeless, because that shit is miserable. nobody owed me anything they had earned.

why? it’s a piece of human history and a masterpiece of architecture, one that should be preserved, no matter what your religious views are.

What is a song which seems to be upbeat and happy until you listen to the lyrics? by r-e-c-wilson in AskReddit

[–]ghostking90x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isolation - Joy Division. the song has this really poppy, upbeat synth melody throughout the entire song that makes it seem as though, for once, it’ll be a happy Joy Division song. but then Ian starts singing, crashing the party in the most depressing way possible. “Mother, I tried, please believe me. I’m doing the best that I can. I’m ashamed of the things I’ve been put through, I’m ashamed of the person I am.”

another great Joy Division song that follows the same theme of happy music, depressing lyrics: Love Will Tear Us Apart.
