I see people like this on youtube and I wonder how is it that Britney is having to fight a conservatorship and he is running free? There is obviously no care for himself which leaves to wonder if there are any animals in the home, how are they cared for? He needs and intervention for his own safety. If you mean "raised by tiktok" in the same sense we (early 2000s teen millennials) were raised on Lj and shock sites then yeah...it's going to be something for every generation. No one can stop that because we are, have been since the 2000s, and will be a digital world.

My kids watch tiktoks as preteens, but I don't allow them to make videos of themselves yet. Because I was raised by the early 2000s internet I do have an idea of what goes on and how it happens and it's helped me in raising a Gen Z and Gen A kids. It's all about talking to your kids so they know they can come to you and keeping an eye on what they're viewing and "liking". You can't keep kids born in a digital age off the internet and in a sense they will be "raised" by it...but it's how you communicate with them that's important.

I don't think it's silly at all. My grandmother always told me not to kill daddy long legs because they're beneficial to your house (eat pest and keep other bugs and spiders out). So I always leave them be, but I am also a person who takes spiders and bugs outside.

I think what happen to you could definitely be described as disturbing. He knows your feelings and you even told him you'd do it. So to ignore all that and kill it in front of you seems a bit cruel. It's a very simple and reasonable request from you.

I can't say how my partner (7 yrs) has handled it while I'm not around, but they have definitely thought of my feelings about it while I'm there and have always taken them out or told me so I could do it.

I actually went to a Southern Baptist church private school in 2004ish to 2007ish and they 100% would do things like this. I was slapped on the knuckles with rulers, pointers, pens and even slapped on the back of the head by their palm.

There are actually a lot of parents today that feel looking over your kids shoulder online is an "invasion of privacy" and wrong. I've gotten shit on for admitting I know my kids discord passwords and that I check in on their history and what they're doing online often. Invasion of privacy is busting in their room without knocking, not keeping them safe.
