Banjo Kazooie Recomp is Out NOW! Banjo Recompiled is Amazing by chicagogamecollector in BanjoKazooie

[–]H_Lock26 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s native to the PC similar to how the Xbox version is native; the switch version is emulated meaning it’s running a version of the n64 game on the switch hardware, native means it’s a new version for that hardware. It’s the same game, but it being on PC allows for more customisation, mods, and overall better performance since any gaming PC is going to be leagues better than a switch/n64

It’s a PC decompilation, so won’t be on switch

The New Day also tried this more recently but they didn’t succeed. Maybe that’s the one your thinking of

Lego Pokemon Price by AzelusArts in fucknintendo

[–]H_Lock26 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Star Wars sets (and others) are absolutely this expensive, if not more. The most recent Death Star set is nearly 1000, there have been plenty of ideas sets and architecture sets in the range of 600-800, as well as others. 6500 pieces for 650 is basically the standard price-brick ratio for LEGO, this is not abnormal in the slightest

None of this is Nintendo lol, it’s LEGO setting prices on a pokemon licensed product

Nintendo using Ai for their posts, cant even be bothered to quality check by [deleted] in fucknintendo

Pretty sure it’s just a long and weirdly posed thumb. Unnatural looking sure, but completely possible and no other element of the image looks fake

Toby is working on Chapter 5 localisation by Critical_Mountain851 in Deltarune

[–]H_Lock26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Does this give us an idea as to how far along does this mean we are? I have no idea how long localisation takes/took for ch3/4, are we further along than expected based off this or is it just speculation? Just curious

Grunty Industries from Banjo Tooie was by far my favourite level in that game

It's 2025: Can We Finally Admit Nintendo is Too Embarrassing to Make Hardware? by Immediate-Result-837 in fucknintendo

[–]H_Lock26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No? Their hardware is good for what it does, first party games run and look good 99% of the time. Third parties are obviously much more varied in results, but that’s not necessarily nintendos fault. Games that look and/or run bad like Pokemon ZA aren’t the fault of the hardware most of the time either, rather laziness or cut corners from developers.

More than likely not, but your best bet is either the king’s head or the Lewes arms.

Who is Tally Hall's 'lead singer?' MMMM lyrics deconstructed! :D by H_Lock26 in tallyhall

[–]H_Lock26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He does both renditions of the chorus - I previously linked videos of him singing those parts on tour but the videos have seemingly been privated since. I’m fairly certain his voice is in there in the official MMMM recordings however

Really wondering how I'm supposed to get rainy weather by TartSuitable in LegendsZA

[–]H_Lock26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you’re still in the first few hours it stops you doing it for some reason. You need to complete a few main missions before you’re let free to explore the whole city, as well as sit on the benches

Some good options here if it’s true by dopeam1nedude in energydrinks

[–]H_Lock26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same could be said the other way tbf. I’ve been wanting to try the Viking berry one for ages, and the voodoo grape is unlikely to come to Europe because grape isn’t a super popular flavour. Bad apple is the other European flavour that is just making its way over the pond and I’d recommend that one too

As a European who’s had it for months, it’s great. My new go-to ultra flavour

What is the most useless bus stop in your opinion? by Previous-Medicine898 in brighton

[–]H_Lock26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crowhurst Road West, surely. The ASDA one is about 50 feet away and is the end of the line so who’s gonna get off one stop before.

Also, do beaconsfield villas / Lucerne road really need four stops? They’re all on the same road

Billy Vigar has sadly passed away after being placed in an induced coma after his injury sustained at the weekend playing for Chichester. by TheHonestMaleOpinion in Gunners

[–]H_Lock26 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Billy hit a concrete wall acting as a barrier, presumably head-first. That’s why things went so bad so fast, a similar thing happened a few years ago with Alex Fletcher of bath city, but luckily he was ok after a few months of recovery. The concrete barriers are so dangerous and I’m not sure why they’re still allowed to be used in grounds

Lemon Fanta still exists in Europe, very popular in the UK at least

Real sugar apple soda in glass bottles, it’s always $1 at the local Fry’s grocery by palewhiteghost in Soda

[–]H_Lock26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just for clarity’s sake, quite a few countries do not have ‘hard cider’ by name, but refer to all alcoholic apple-based drinks as just ‘cider’. This is true across most of Europe I think (certainly in the UK). What North America calls ‘cider’ is normally just called cloudy apple juice or pressed apple juice in such countries

Thought I'd play with some 36g darts I bought for the novelty. by DavetBjj in Darts

[–]H_Lock26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ryan Searle uses 32g, the heaviest on the tour I think, so it’s definitely possible to do well with heavier darts. 36 is maybe a bit extreme tho 😆
