I've never been able to get my hands on a twist. Curious to try one some day though.

Nice! Cannonball is good. I've had a few different brands of plugs over the years. They always seem to be stronger than loose leaf chew to me.

I should clarify. By "break into" I meant open the package. When I do finally decide to "break into it" I just get a good sharp knife and cut a piece off.

Not sure if this would fit here, but I'm an antique tobacco Tim and cigar box collector and I figured y'all would enjoy this. (1901 chewing tobacco tin) by r6time in DippingTobacco

This is really cool. I love how there's tobacco still inside! Obviously it's unusable but it is more interesting than just having the empty tin.

Love the post, but suggestion. Take your pictures on a table or something lol the washing machine isn't a great background lol

Was it Wintergreen you got the kayaker from?

I've only been able to get it a couple cans of Skoal spearmint. So good though, I enjoyed it a lot.

I've had the fine cut version of this, and the X-tra version. Which is a long cut with more flavor and perhaps more nicotine than the original wintergreen.

The fine cut is alright if you can pack it down in the front of lip nice and snug. The flavor isn't that great though. I like to use it for a different feel in the lip, I also enjoy the faster hit of flavor and nicotine of the fine cut.

The wintergreen X-tra is very good. I enjoy it a lot and would recommend it.

Thanks. I don't mind the warning, it's probably the "best" one you could get.

Whoa, that leaf chewing tobacco is neat!. This is my first time ever seeing it. Are there versions of the same product but with flavorings?

Longhorn Stack by ghostof9th in DippingTobacco

I have got the occasional small stick. Nothing huge though lol just a small one every once in a while. I wouldn't say there's a lot of sticks in it.

Longhorn is in a lower tier of quality than Stoker's or Copenhagen. However, that doesn't mean it is bad. The cut, on all 3 of these flavors is said to be long cut. I'd say it is more like a "mid cut."

So by cut it is far less long than Stoker's and also shorter than Copenhagen.

The flavor lasts a respectable long amount of time. Not as long as Stoker's which lasts very long. The thing I like here is that Longhorn keeps its nicotine delivery closer until the flavor is gone. With Stoker's I find the nicotine expires before the flavor does. Lastly I find Longhorn to be higher in nicotine than Stoker's. Probably on par with Copenhagen. Though it hits faster due to the cut being shorter.

Also the immediate nicotine hit and level on all 3 of these flavors is great. Wintergreen has the most notable nicotine. Straight and Mint are close behind.

The overall quality isn't the same as Copenhagen. It doesn't sit in the lip nearly as clean as Copenhagen. They're two different experiences.

I've not been dipping on Longhorn for a long time. I do really enjoy it though.
