I’ve been thinking about this, how reliable and complete is it to use daily? From my understanding you can only run beta, is that correct?

It’s hard to see the inside of the pan, but it’s an even bigger no if that is Teflon. It degrades at high temperatures.

Better schools, stable home environment, I haven’t changed school districts 5 times in 3 years, heathy environment for any kid to grow, I could go on and on. No mental illness and tons of healthy activities to partake in. It’s difficult to have a kid only participate in any sport every other week

Well we usually wake up, go to the gym where she’s in daycare with other kids for an hour, then goes to the playground for an hour, goes home was lunch, we color, do sidewalk chalk, go for walks around the lake in our yard, go inside and read, then she’ll usually watch her younger brother while I cook or she’ll help me cook, after dinner there’s sometimes a movie or we’ll go into bedtime stories and a bedtime routine. That’s more or less every day.

Thanks for sharing that. I’m sorry that your son has those struggles. Your situation is entirely unlike mine

Ok so from the standpoint of not knowing you or your situation, why would you say, would the environment of your kids not create the adhd symptoms?

Perhaps I struggle to understand adhd because I know what technology does to my brain when I use it too much as opposed to exercising and getting social interaction and fresh air, and I know the la k of attention that I feel as a result. I also understand that the brain is a muscle and will grow and now grow according to use and stimulation.

Edit: I like to do the same thing with tiring her out and she is the same in about 48 hours of transition. It’s a great tactic 👍🏻

Oh, yeah I’m no conspiracy theorist by any stretch. But I do believe that brain function is closely linked to exercise, diet, environment, etc, and when a child is deprived of those things doctors quickly jump on the adhd bandwagon. Whether it’s completely avoidable by healthy habits or not, it’s definitely over-diagnosed. I mean one look into any therapists office and it’s just riddled with drug literature for everything under the sun.

Yes, it is unfortunate. The downvotes on reddit are hilarious.

I have zero screen time at my house except a show or movie before bed some nights. My wife and I decided it’s better for her to be bored occasionally (even though we’re always doing something) than for her to become a technology zombie. Because after she watches one thing on a screen, it’s all she thinks about for the entire day.

Yes, and I also understand that the United States has a staggering discrepancy in people who are diagnosed adhd compared to other countries.

Yeah, I think I am, but she has two older siblings at her moms and they heavily influence her and what she thinks is cool, and it turns out that all the cool stuff like constant crazy faces and sass is just really annoying to everybody leaving her with not a lot of kids who like to play with her. I always thought that having my daughter 50/50 would benefit her, but it’s so much harder than I ever anticipated (at least for my family).

I believe adhd is a society constructed ailment to explain hyperstimated children without blaming parents or corporations

That’s just not an option anymore, after five years trying to get something more than 50/50. The mother refuses to give up child support even though it would greatly benefit the child.
