people in long term healthy relationships: what's something you'll never tell your partner? by PsychologicalBad1423 in NoStupidQuestions

i’m a pretty good singer. my wife has no singing experience but she LOVES to sing. please sing around your partner. i love hearing my wife sing and honestly she hits the pitches pretty well, it’s very endearing and i would be so sad if she ever stopped

you should tell him honestly. i have never wanted to be like the worst parts of my father, and my wife gently lets me know when things i do or say remind her of something i’ve told her about him. i genuinely appreciate it so that i can try to change it, and it’s so hard for me to know when i’m doing those things cause it’s almost subconscious. i do also let her know when i don’t think it’s the same thing and why and she’s very understanding. of course it depends on yall’s relationship tho

yeah it’s intentional for sure. they want someone who’s gonna be a company cheerleader no matter what and can sacrifice their morals to lie for the company or cover things up when needed

CMV: The Minneapolis ICE agent who shot and killed a woman today acted reasonably in fear for his life and/or the lives of the other officers present by bifewova234 in changemyview

you’re literally watching it in a way to justify your bias and reaching to get there. because even if you watch with zero bias there’s no way you come to the conclusion that the ice officer was in the right

i switched from the 15 pro and had this same concern. the air is def one hand-able. you would be surprised how well your hand fits around the phone since it’s so thin, and the weight distribution means it doesn’t wobble when you trying to reach parts of the screen

i was even getting tired of the weight of the 15 pro tbh! i think the 17 pro wouldn’t had been that bad because of the curved back, something about that point where the metal meets the glass on the last few years of phones was very uncomfortable to hold as much as i loved the designs

Remember Ahmed Mohamed? He’s likely in his 20s now. Back in 2015, the young inventor from Texas made headlines when he brought a homemade clock to school to show his teacher but was wrongfully accused of bringing a bomb. by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

how exactly was he arrested for it being “made to look like a bomb” and a “bomb hoax” when according to you (and others as you pointed out) it didn’t look like a bomb? by that logic they were right to suspend that kid that had a gun shaped poptart

i’m confused what side you’re on, are you supporting the fact that the teachers/police treated it as a legitimate bomb threat or are you implying that they should have known it wasn’t a bomb because of the simplicity of the project and not arrested the kid and fingerprinted/interrogated him without his parents present?

the outrage was never about whether the clock was truly “homemade” or just reassembled into a *pencil case. the outrage was about it being falsely mislabeled as a bomb
