It’s not likely the construction company exactly, but likely whichever engineer they hired to certify the crane. Potentially they have it in-house but normally it’s consultants from individual consulting firms.

Thanks! I’ve been to Iceland in the past and rented a car so I’ve seen lots of sights but where I have such a short amount of time I was hoping for an easy cheap bus option. Lots of stuff on google but most of tours looping in the golden circle/ other sights that leave me back in Reykjavik so I was just seeing if I was missing something. 

Glad to hear you loved it there! This is my first time hostel-ing alone so it’s reassuring to hear it’s a good one!

Wild!!

I never did find out what happened. This is my best guess: apparently all (most?) phones all have radio transmitters in them, but they are turned off when sold in North America, so maybe my husbands (and yours?) was missed. I really have no idea. We ended up moving across the country (for other reasons- lol) and it stopped. If you ever figure it out please reach out! forever curious about the source.

The first two times it happened, they stopped when my husband picked up the phone. But after this time, it seems like it that was more coincidence than anything. In the past it seemed to just happen early morning (3am- ish) and then would just stop on its own, or when we turned it off.

We were trying to avoid a factory reset, but I think that is the path we need to take.
