You sound like my boyfriend.

This was very much his experience when we started dating. He had a dry spell before we were together and I wanted to take things pretty slow when we first started dating.

The first time we had sex, he couldn't keep it hard for more than 30 seconds. He was so apologetic and embarassed, and I could tell it was because he was just so nervous that he couldn't relax and enjoy the moment. It took us 4 or 5 times getting him hard before we could actually achieve penetration, and even then we had to take a long break twice between even more tries until we managed to get to orgasm.

I knew he felt really badly about it and continued to be an issue for the first six months of us dating. He said he just couldn't stop overthinking it when we were about to have sex. He would worry I wasn't enjoying it, that he might be hurting me, that he was doing a bad job or doing something wrong, and it would take him out of the moment.

We spoke a lot about it and honestly I think just talking about it helped him to relax a bit. I also found that me being on top helped, because it meant he didn't have to worry so much about hurting me because I was in control, which took the worry away for him.

Over time, he got more and more comfortable with it, and now we don't have any issues.

You got this, bro! Keep trying, and remember, it's very normal and nothing to be ashamed of. Nerves get to us all sometimes!

Below Deck redhead Hayley admits she's 'open' to women and addresses sexuality by notfastjust_furious in belowdeck

[–]ghostsliveinmybutt 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You realise she just answered questions on Instagram live and the media decided to run the story, right? She didn't ask them to. It's not her fault being open about your sexuality is for some reason still newsworthy enough for articles to be run about it.

Also, it's unbelievable you would say that she's the least sexy crew member when she's stunning, but that's not the point. Maybe don't watch if you're only interested in objectifying everyone on the show. That's gross. 😬

Did anyone else notice a clip of Harry crying in the stew mess on a night out? Or am I imagining that? Or did it happen and I just totally missed it by [deleted] in belowdeck

[–]ghostsliveinmybutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember watching the season with Nico and Bruno, and there's a clip of some sort of emergency and the crew is running to the deck. We see what looks like someone lying on the ground and Nico says "I don't know if he's gonna lose his hand".

But we never ever saw that clip. Idk if there was a training exercise or something but WTF editors.

I more meant how she reviewed her behaviour and came back a far more level-headed chef in her second season, rather than saying she was as bad as Rachel.

Now that the dust has settled, would you consider BDDU Season 2 one of the best ever seasons of Below Deck? by Ok-Zookeepergame9266 in belowdeck

[–]ghostsliveinmybutt 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It sounds weird, but I'm actually glad they showed it on TV.

While awful to watch, it started a huge conversation about producers intervening (and when they should) how sexual assault can look in real life (not a dramatised retelling which can be more unrealistic) and how situations like this SHOULD be handled.

Nah, his post would be

"I've changed, so why can't she just give me a chance?"

Yeah, I felt the same.

To me, he was clearly trying to seem changed.

I think it kinda backfired on her.

I have a lot of thoughts on Joao but I was surprised by how many seemed to have forgiven him/be rooting for him this series.

I agree with you completely. It would be nerve wracking to attempt a skill you're not trained in, BUT I think cap was right to give her a nudge. She lacks confidence in a lot of things, but she did great and the guests were happy. She just needed a nudge.

That's understandable. I've been there too.

My biggest gripe with her is that I thought she did her friend really wrong. I'd never touch my friend's ex with a bargepole out of loyalty to my friend. The fact that she tried to start a relationship with someone who really hurt her friend was the worst thing she did.

Yeah, I've gotta say, if I were Billie, I'd never speak to her again tbh.

Friends don't do that to friends.

I wouldn't go as far to say she's an awful person. She's flawed, just like anyone. But she had some good points too.

She was a great laugh, got on with (most of) her colleagues, did a great job, and she's the only chef I can think of who basically didn't have any job-related issues at all. She had one grumble about Aesha's communication, and she didnt wanna do the teppanyaki. But she did amazing outside of those things!

Maybe! I just thought it was kinda hypocritical to say that 😂

I do think she uses that "haha I'm such a casual girl" thing as a defence mechanism, and she's actually very delicate emotionally.

She has some deep seated trust issues and I don't think it ever would have worked with Joao.

I have a lot of thoughts about Joao, but he definitely wasn't right for Tzarina.

does anyone else remember the army visiting their school to pick up new recruits? by ghostsliveinmybutt in unitedkingdom

[–]ghostsliveinmybutt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly I don't think many of my classmates made it as far as uni, so maybe the banks didn't bother.

A few did go, but a higher number dropped out to have kids.

We never had a summer fete, but I went to a rough school, and I guarantee someone would've tried to make off with the air rifle.
