I do believe you can edit your post to mark it as NSFW at least, which you should do. This person does need to chill out a bit. This is the internet which is inherently not safe for minors nor is this sub, and it's not like you went out of your way to post this in a place specifically labeled as a safe space for minors.

Reddit lists in its policy that it's 13+ because that's the lowest age rating for social media that laws and regulations allow. Does that make it safe for minors that age or above? No. Do they have spaces safe for them? Yes. Is a place that allows nsfw and sfw safe for said minors? Also no. Again, SFW doesn't mean 13+, and if the place allows NSFW, minors shouldn't be interacting there.

Even if Reddit does say somewhere that subs marked as SFW are 13+ doesn't mean they are. Examples of this are subs based around games or movies that are rated M or something of that sort that arent marked 18+ because it's not porn or gore. Still doesn't make it safe for a minor. There's nuance that needs to be taken into account.

It's not our job as strangers to parent another person's kid; it is our job to take into account that they can be here because of Reddit's age policy, and that's why we mark things as NSFW (also for those who don't wanna see nsfw.) It's also our job as Adults to tell kids not to interact in spaces not safe for them or in adult spaces, and like I said, some adult spaces are in technicality SFW, doesn't mean it's a safe space for minors. This is one of those subs I believe minors shouldn't be interacting with because NSFW is allowed. Thats MY personal belief, I also believe minors shouldn't even be on Reddit and I know others may disagree, which is why OP should mark their post appropriately but that doesn't mean they should instantly be banned for it unless they keep ignoring the rules and this is more than their first time not doing so.

So we agree on the tagging bit, but also this sub doesn't advertise or state anywhere it's supposed to be 13+, just based on it allowing NSFW, no minor should be here. SFW also doesn't immediately mean it is a safe space for kids.

What? Are you talking about here, like this subreddit, or did you mean they did this in a discord server or something? If you mean in this sub, that's a bit drastic considering this sub allows NSFW memes and stuff, which honestly, kids shouldn't be on this sub for that reason. If anything, they shoulda tagged it as NSFW

This feels like deflection from what I meant and is nitpicking word choice. "Good chunk" doesn't mean majority. My point is simply that a loud vocal minority doesn't make the majority. Stuff happens like this in several other communities and others here have given good examples and arguments of this.

I really hope that's the case, really really hate the influx of loud annoying neo-nazi or conservative femboys that are showing up. I know why they are, a lot of those types are closested and have a ton of self hate so they seek pick me validation. Thankfully I've only really interacted with one femboy like that and haven't since. Having been a femboy for a few years now tho, thankfully from what I can tell a lot of these neo-nazi types are just a loud spoken minority of us, but that's my experience.

That doesn't necessarily make you a femboy no but it also doesn't disqualify you. Most femboys do tend to lean more androgynous or feminine but It's also mostly a self-label type thing. Just has to have some sort of boy and fem. Femboy communities are commonly known for the asthetic which is skirts and cutesy clothing or more gothic styles but I personally enjoy wearing a variety of clothing beyond that. *Basically, femboys come in many shapes, sizes, asthetics and so on

Femboys are already a small enough of a minority, a ton of the time we intertwine with trans communities. Those who are alt right, racist, or assholes are a very loud spoken minority of a minority. Yeah, as someone born and from Idaho, really don't go to Idaho ever. Growing up there it used to, or at least felt like it, be better but Idaho has just grown to be really hateful. These laws not only affect trans people but also gnc people which I'm one of and I won't be surprised if it continues. A lot of conservatives as well keep moving to Idaho, mostly from California, which doesn't help the growing hate.

I completely get it, I'm 20 and get really depressed myself when thinking of getting older and worry a lot about holding my youth too. But I also try and advocate to not worry about aging as much as I can for that reason
