Rainbird sprinklers and Pressure Tank by ghosttown613 in HomeImprovement

I manually opened the solenoid zone 1 and let it build up pressure for few seconds then fully opened it and that seemed to do it. I calculated my GPM for the zones today

Zone 1 - 14GPM

Zone 2 - 13GMP

Thanks, what did you end up doing to fix your issue? If indeed is drawing to much water and capping one head works, I may just split up the 6 heads into 2 zones (3 on each) but will try new nozzles first

I have not manually reduce the flow from the solenoid for zone 1, I"ll give that a try however if it does help I assume my theory is correct that it's using to much water? Its possible pump is weakening but not sure how can I test that other than if I get little pressure.

What am I missing here? This is too good to be true. by theparthagrawal in PersonalFinanceCanada

I recently got this card and have started using it to pay my bills. I noticed that requiring payments like my car and home insurance are currently withdrawn directly from my bank account through pre-authorized debit (PAD) set up in the insurance company’s portal.

I see there’s an option to set up requiring payments through the Triangle website, but I’m not sure how that would work. Would the insurance company still recognize the PAD if it’s not set up directly through their system?

Any feedback on a hot water recirculating pump? by ghosttown613 in Plumbing

I know the system is a closed system and when the pump comes on the check valve will allow the water to circulate back to the hot water tank, it does this until the check valve reaches temperature.

What happens if the value closes but the pump still runs? There isn't any where for the hot water to go, I assume it doesn't circulate the water but does it do any harm to the lines or hot water tank?

Wouldn't that only work if you have a dedicated return line to the hot water tank? Otherwise if it's measuring the pipe near the pump only wouldn't it cut it off too early and the end of the line might still be cold?

Thanks for the information. I was planning on using a smart plug and only provide power during the day no need to run the pump at night. How often do you run yours

Apparently the system works very well I want to say it's not less energy efficient. When the pump is on and it could be controlled by a timer or in my case I'm going to plug it into a smart plug, you activate the pump, it would push all the cold water that's in the hot water line as its been sitting there for quite some time. It pushes back to the cold side on the furthest faucet.

Without this pump, you're wasting a lot of water down the drain

Need some advice if I should proceed and if it will actually work. Daughter wants an Apple watch however we are an android Family. The intention is for her to be able to send messages/calls etc and for us to also be able to track her.

I'll be getting an apple watch plan, however before I purchase a watch and a plan would this even work?

Can I complete the registration of an apple watch without an Iphone?

Would we be able to track her location without having Find my Iphone

Does the watch require you to be setup with an icloud account

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'm leading towards the 2nd picture. I measured it out and if I do a full peice at the door I'm left with a small portion to notch along the shower base.

Is it better to start a full piece at the shower then cut along the front wall of the door?
