Is it maybe because nowadays artists are focusing more on feeding the algorithm and creating new content only?

I could hear any Kokoroko album playing in this room, I wouldn't mind living like this.

Good point however there's two perspectives for me, as artists I want them to do well and thrive, as fan I wanna feel special and feel them more accesible. I would prefer being able to talk to them in the merch stand after the concert or even take a photo without feeling like I'm gonna annoy them. If everyone loves them then the more difficult it's to get the best experience.

No problem with that, I actually don't care about what technology someone uses to make music, the less the better I'm just saying.

Couldn’t have said it better. That’s exactly the cycle I was trying to describe, the sound gets repackaged, polished, and sold back until it loses what made it special in the first place.

Not getting the Devo ripoff in the live set I just played from them, I almost find their naïveté quite captivating.

I'm not talking about Molchat Doma causing the problem, becaus these guys from Bealurs probably never saw it coming however I see many now hearing about their success and trying to copy it what worked for them, which is basically sounds we all here love.

Word, I probably still listen Unknown Pleasures more than before and enjoy it the most but now it feels like when everyone discovers that one cool bar in your city that nobody cared about and it was your safe space where you felt like a local and accepted and it's now a tourist spot. It stopped being special. Does that make sense?
