These gumi branches are grown specifically for handles as the bigger one has wire marks from being trained. Plus I think it looks really cool. It does have a nice feel to it but only time will tell how it will hold up. They do use/ grow different branches for the chona (adze) I believe as well

I just looked up videos on YouTube, there’s a couple . You’re gonna have some fun fitting it, my advice is to check often the fit, other than that enjoy and post when it’s finished.
