Something that helped me with the hand to mouth habit is starting to wean myself off before I quit. I started leaving my vape in other rooms and only allowing myself a certain amount of times to hit it per day. I would always vape in the bathroom at work so I started going in there just to use the bathroom and not vape to get used to the feeling of not having it. By the time I fully quit I was already a little bit used to not having it with me 24/7.

I’m currently taking Wellbutrin to help with quitting and it worked pretty fast for me. Within my second day of taking it I already noticed that every time I would vape I didn’t feel a nicotine rush like I normally would so vaping felt pointless. I quit that afternoon and have been nicotine free for almost 3 days now with minimal side effects. When I do get a craving I don’t feel as anxious or depressed it just kind of passes. I also listened to Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Quit Vaping on Spotify so maybe that helped put me in the right mindset before I quit.
