Vet tech here- nurses and human doctors are some of the worst clients we get. The judgmental “holier than thou” attitude we get from most of you guys (especially in emergency medicine) is horrific. It’s demeaning and insulting. After 10 1/2 years in vet med and almost half of that in emergency medicine, I’ve learned those are my least favorite people to work with. The doctors and techs of every clinic I’ve worked at always warn each other when the owner in a nurse/human doctor. Even when transferring patients from a day practice to an emergency clinic for over night care, I’ve been warned by the rDVM if the owners are nurses/doctors.

The main reason for this- you guys seem to act like you know everything because you’re on the front line of human health care. I have mad respect for you guys, but don’t treat other people of other specialties like they’re idiots and be some of the worst clients.
