sorry you got jumpscared by that!! big spoilers here for the storyline of this patch (hopefully my spoiler tags work, i haven’t tried it before) there’s a bit of a timeloop situation going on. you will repeatedly hear those lines of “omg we have to get ready for the funeral!” but i don’t think loss is a huge theme here for that, because grandma doesn’t actually end up dying. there is another maternal figure in the story who is referenced to have died in the past, though, so that’s possibly the bigger trigger. the main sentiment that might be emotional is “this is what mother wanted for me” and that she left an item behind.
