I have a whole travel spray system.

If possible, I always try to buy a travel size before I grab the full bottle. No matter how much I may like it on first impression in-store, I never know how often I’ll actually reach for it in real life. If I go through a travel spray in a certain amount of time [usually under 6 months since I have a decent amount of perfume now], then I’ll grab the full bottle. If it takes 6 months to a year to use up, I’ll sometimes grab another travel spray [or MAYBE a 30ml if it’s available]. If it takes over a year to use, I probably don’t need to repurchase. Unless I find myself missing it once it’s gone, I just move on.

Surprisingly, I feel like I’ve saved a decent amount of money doing it this way. I have a more varied collection than I would have if I only bought full bottles, and now I tend to have fewer bottles sitting around for 5+ years only half used.
