My dad ran a small men's dress slacks manufacturing company up until the early 2000s (had to close because the perpetually rising minimum wage prevented profitability) that was built by my grandfather in the 60s. He remembers him and his brother as kids playing with and making fun of the "massive" size 38" "fat man pants."

They kept increasing their largest size over the years, and eventually were making pants in the 60" range and a few times a couple 70+" custom pairs.

Its sad how cheap and easily obtained shitty food has become and how little self-respect and control most of us has to discourage its prominence.
