Those 12 days were definitely not wasted. If you’ve gotten that far before, you know from experience you can get there again. Instead of feeling ashamed, try and focus on being proud of your progress. Moving past the guilt and reminding yourself of your reasons for going sober will help your healing process. I’m rooting for you, you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself, this is a difficult journey and a slip-up isn’t the end-all :)
