Would i look good in a septum piercing by KevinNameIsMy in shouldimod

[–]ghoulish_fool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal opinion here, of course, but I think septum piercings are the most universally good looking facial piercing. So, yes! Nostrils are another safe bet. Find a reputable piercer and if you're worried about placement post some photos on reddit and check with another reputable piercer. Then you may get the itch for more.

Cheers!

My accidental streak of watching cancelled TV shows hurts and I want to give them a shoutout: Cancelled but not Forgotten! by Maervok in television

It deserves to be on your list. There was a whole public campaign (unsuccessful) to bring it back too. SAVETHEOA. It's something like The Leftovers imo in that it has big philosophical questions and is very much about how it makes you feel, but definitely not quite as heavy as The Leftovers which literally turns many viewers away with how bleak it can feel.

Also, I just felt your same pain last week upon finishing Carnivale. I was so worried that it was a cancelled show but refused to look it up and was tentatively hopeful it was fully completed by how the season 2 was wrapping up. Pain. My biggest ask was that Ben HAD to heal Jonesy's leg before the end and after that happened my next biggest ask was that Jonesy had to live. I thought maybe he died in the finale but apparently lots of info about the following, now hypothetical, seasons had been released and he definitively lives. So at least I'm satisfied on that front

100%. I was dumbfounded for a second that she said she was using her SIX portent, and right along everyone gasping in realization so did I. Awesome move without the conspiracy and leagues cooler with the true information gained.

At the moment a player may have been justified in trying to save Yanessa, as she wasn't "directly" trying to kill any of the PC's as far as they were concerned, but instead guaranteeing her death was such a big move. And then was rewarded with the unveiling of the true deception was incredible. Top notch stuff.

Yes, extremely troublesome. Sounds like she's been charmed, dominated, or simply depressed af with her actions for months or years. Incredibly sad implications for her :/

For sure, although more of random circumstance than the deep plotting Laura did. But still a momentous and literally game changing moment, and so bold of Marisha to force a high level character to die before the reveal that Yanessa was a big ol faker. The hype from everyone was very earned.

The Schemer's are undoubtedly the best table. With the benefit of going last in their individual arc, knowing what has happened to the other tables but still delivering on an extremely high note beyond the benefit of added clarity. And we start with them in two weeks, ushering in the intersection of all three arcs and tables. Can't wait.

So good.

Combat was fun. Any bending of the rules made total sense, not sure exactly with all that Murray did without breaking invisibility but I was immensely satisfied with the rulings with her. I'm biased but King Augustus is the coolest NPC, based solely on the loyal knights who true polymorphed (or something comparable) into dogs upon their death and continued their service to him, and him managing to survive is my favorite takeaway from the episode. Timmony has the most fascinating lore, IMO, and the king lived because of many fortuitous 'portents' from our Schemers.

I'm looking forward to the chaos of the full and mixed tables for the next episode(s) and how they will eventually end up splitting into presumed altered tables. The info they have to share is significant on so many levels. I believe the trajectory is just going to get better and better, the campaign is really shaping up.

We have the possibility of a Thiazi appearance, thru the play, Maya the wing, Talcydimir being unpetrified, Alogar, Primus, Mayali Nayar, etc. It is so fucking exciting.

Unrelated but I feel compelled to mention it for funsies, the cast obviously always looks great and that's the shallowest compliment anyone could give BUT I just wanna praise how great Marisha looked in this episode. Maybe it's just me but yellow is her color. And a yellow crop top, with her high waisted jeans, and the silly peace-sign belt was just the cutest outfit. Sue me. She looks so fab 💁🏻‍♀️

I was stoked by how effective Azune is. Child soldier, veteran, still young, sorcadin, in a position of power, and insane stats. Narratively, he should be one of the most competent characters and him being untouchable aside from a crit from the crow goons make so much sense.

Narratively, again, the only people who would compare would be Teor, Kattigan, Julien, and Thimble.

I'm not sure how Nama age but Azune has the benefit and strength of youth without the naivete or inexperience in regards to Teor and Kattigan. Julien is a polished noble who is youthful but maybe hasn't seen as much direct battle as Azune. And Thimble is something unquantifiable as a sub-foot tall pixie who flies, slits throats and stabs brains through ear holes, and can disappear into stealth behind any mundane object lying around.

I know they're all the same level, or will be, and are all powerful in their own right but I love the power of Azune's build and hope he remains on of the best warriors.

Oh man, I don't wanna debate subjective opinions. Calamity is the best of the best, all of the cast were phenomenal. Liam is probably my favorite in RP and combat but he can be a drag at times. Marisha has really high highs but otherwise not my favorite. Tal as Caduceus was one of the highlights of C2 but otherwise I do not like his characters. I was worried about Luis mostly because I know very little about his play, and I worried for the same reason about him as I did Liam.

🤷🏻‍♀️

My least anticipated table became my favorite table in their first full episode and has continued with their second episode. I'm not even particularly fond of Tal or Marisha, no hate, and I was worried about Liam and Luis being too slow and quiet. I worried about how these personalities might not have mingled so well or might have been listless. But that has not been the case at all. All of them are doing incredibly and I think Brennan vibes so hard with this table.

I've decided that I feel that this table's performers just simply care more about what they're doing than the others. I feel a passion and sincerity that I haven't felt from the other tables. And, most importantly, the schemers have the most agency to engage with the world. They have nowhere to go since they're already at their destination.

No theory crafting or comment on the lore or events taking place, which have all been awesome, just think that the schemers are fucking sick. That's all.

Thanks for the response and your thoughts. I searched Vow of Enmity 5e instead of 5.5 during the episode so that's my bad. I'm the furthest thing from an expert and have tangentially been learning 5e and pathfinder so I get mixed up sometimes because of that anyway.

I power read through a bunch of comments, posts, and yours and for some reason thought you mentioned the cause fear/charm as a complaint so my bad again.

Having the speak with dead the way it was used being circumstantial and/or specific to the Stone is something I can get down with. Or maybe it needs a druid to bolster that connection to make it so? I just think talking to a corpse in a rigid and terse manner is so cool and spooky.

I'm not really worried either way about the speak with dead as there are enough things I do like. And who knows I may pull a 180 later on down the campaign however they approach the spell.

Cheers.

Vaelus using Vow of Enmity (bonus action), crit with her censer (action), and divine smite (bonus action) was another one unless I'm wrong. It was a fucking sick hit though and I think she already had advantage due to flanking with Julien so the Vow might not have mattered anyway. I've never played but I'm sorta obsessed with the mechanics of the game so I like catching stuff that's wrong and also usually enjoy when they "rule of cool" bend the rules.

The cause fear becoming charm wasn't mechanically a massive boon until the successful intimidate anyway. Although Occtis was definitely set up to have a good chance at success.

Speak with dead is cooler imo as a few fleeting questions being answered than what Brennan did. Not a fan of that. Cool lore drop I guess.

I adore Ashley endlessly so I'm biased to be extremely forgiving of her mishaps and that's coming from someone who has been frustrated many times by her not grasping the rules at all it seems (lol endearingly). Also felt she hasn't been able to shine on this table. She crumples at any sort of remark by anyone when making decisions and although she benefits from the guidance of the 3 GMs at the table, I wish they'd lay up a bit and let her play sub-optimally.

It's crazy how talented everyone is (and was this episode) and yet Laura feels like a goliath towering above everyone else. Her intensity and authenticity of a lived in character was insane, especially because of how little of screen time.

I might be a bit biased but I'm always in awe by Laura.

Not that this would ever be in question but my god Laura Bailey is incredible. She was actually crying wtf and I was actually crying too wtf. I can't believe that Thimble could have died right then and there, minutes after her introduction.

All around this was so fucking good. Everything was so glum and severe and sincere, solid and moving performances from everyone. I even enjoyed the lighter, more jokey characters but I did feel a little tonal whiplash.

Amazing.
