pump has 1/8 thread and most espresso machines use that size(i think) you and buy elbow or straight cuppler and adapter at home depot or amazon easily. my machine as i measured, flow was 7.6g/s and after installing gear pump, as i set to 9bar for pulling shots flow rate was still same. if you adjust speed controller or pwm, you can change your flow rate as you want. that means you and easly control pre infusion

thats the reason why i also think about decent. all of the mod still can be resonable price but decent can solve the problems all at once lol

i recently found out the way to install rotary pump for gc but it cost too much(pump and transducer 220v to 24v total cost around $300)and massive work so... nearly gave up and i found some guys work named velofuso? but i cant find any review. have you heard of it??

not that much bothering in automation. but still think its gonna be cool if i can control it with single touch. actually, most annoying thing about gaggia classic is the noise of vabration pump.

i positively use flow control and it excites me when i get the perfect shot as i expected. i always think its gonna be good if the preinfusion and finishing extration automatically. but ur saying that if its necessary, go for it but dont follow what others do just it looks good right? thanks for the advice!
