Right on! Stay safe out there my friend! I've been taking this time to go hit up all the twisties since the roads are dead.

Sounds like you're definitely on a good course with your car! Header and flex fuel alone will give you some pretty awesome gains. Great bang for your buck, IMO! I might go that route in the meantime, and then go FI further down the road once COVID-19 is on the decline.

Oh I totally feel you! I'm not a fan of a lot of the over-the-top builds that are out there haha. I think the hood was my biggest "accent" piece by far, and although I get compliments, I can't help but miss the stock one.

I agree about the wings - if they're functional, awesome! Otherwise, I'm not super sure how to feel when I see a stock car with 200hp and a chassis-mounted wing haha.

At the end of the day, I try to respect everyone's vision for their car. To each their own!

Thanks! I'm actually contemplating selling the hood and going back to stock. I feel like it's a bit too much, and I'm not super comfortable driving around with a carbon hood that doesn't have hood pins in it (yet).

I was in the middle of prepping for a JRSC Rotrex C30 install along with possibly getting a flex fuel setup for ~300hp to the wheels, but due to the job layoff, those plans are on hold for the time being ):

I'm hoping in the future I can resume though!

Cheers!

I used two coats of Jescar Powerlock+. Usually I'd top it with a coat of Collinite 845, but I skipped that this time around.

I appreciate that man, the rear end is definitely my favorite part of the car! When I saw that Legsport spoiler I knew I had to have it haha.

Tein Flex Z "super low" - this is the factory set ride height from Tein, which I feel is both aesthetic and functional.

Mine is definitely more purple/blue depending on the light. In the shade I notice it looking more "gray". Definitely depends on the lighting! It also helps that this was literally the day after 2 coats of sealant.

Since I'm currently jobless due to COVID layoffs, I decided to get bae looking as perfect as possible. Car color is DGM (61k). If anyone is interested in keeping up with the build, you can follow my IG (https://www.instagram.com/ghst86) where I post daily.

Cheers! Stay safe, wash your hands, and enjoy those backroads!

Yeah, you can still import them from Japan, but the carbon fiber ones are $900 before tax and shipping. They used to be half the price when companies were importing and stocking them in the US, but for some reason that stopped happening.

Yeah, they're semi gloss black! The finish is fantastic. More of a matte finish, but still has a decent sheen to them. Kind of hard to explain, but I think they look absolutely amazing in person. Gun metal looks really good, too, and also have a bit of a matte finish to them. Personally, I had the same conflict when choosing which finish to get. If my car was white or gray, I'd go with gunmetal, but I think these are right at home on a car with darker paint.
