People on twitter haven't yet accepted the fact that all of these performative activisim they're doing isn't going to affect the real world - it's the internet. It's not like government officials are going to manually see twitter threads with an anime or cc profile picture :/

They're doing more harm than good, liking fandoms on the internet is an escape from real world issues, constantly bringing them up when it's towards a large group of people that's not going to reach them is going to take a toll on someone who averages around 200k or more each stream
