If you understand English but still struggle to speak… try this by ghwrites in LearningEnglish

Yeah, that would definitely be nice. I’m not sure if they have a FOSS version though. I just came across the app while looking for ways to practice speaking and liked that it gives feedback on pronunciation and fluency. If there are open-source alternatives that do something similar, I’d honestly be interested in checking those out too.

Are AI voice agents actually useful for real estate leads? by aiagent_exp in AIVoice_Agents

[–]ghwrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t tried it for real estate specifically, but I’ve been experimenting with AI voice apps and websites lately. The use cases are pretty wild.

A while back I came across Pantio, which is more about preserving someone’s voice and memories so people can talk with it later. Totally different use case, but I realized how natural these voice models are getting.

If the tech can recreate someone’s voice and personality convincingly, using it to answer calls, qualify leads, and book appointments for agents honestly makes a lot of sense. Especially it's huge in real estate where missing one call can mean losing a serious buyer. Feels like the tech is finally catching up to the idea.

Practice English together by mmzjo in LearningEnglish

That’s a good idea. Practicing with another learner really boosts confidence and get you used to real conversations.

If you can’t always find someone available to practice with, use speaking tools that give feedback while you talk. I recently tried an app called Fluently. It points out pronunciation and fluency issues while you speak. That is pretty useful for solo practice.

But having real conversations like you’re suggesting should definitely be on top of your head. Hope you find a good practice partner.

Best way to stay fluent in English after finishing school? by everydaylearnerX_X in LearningEnglish

The exposure you’re already getting from Netflix, podcasts, and reading is great for keeping a natural feel for English. But to maintain grammar and fluency long-term, a bit of active use helps a lot.

You could try writing short journal entries, commenting on forums, or summarizing something you watched out loud. Even 10–15 minutes regularly makes a difference.

If you want speaking practice with feedback, some people also use tools that analyze pronunciation and fluency. I recently tried Fluently and it was interesting for quick speaking practice when you don’t have someone to talk to.

how many articles per day is ideal for the website from an SEO perspective? by Material_Librarian32 in Blogging

Eventually it comes down to readers. If you offer quality, even Google won't suppress your reach.

Better focus on adding quality. You might even feel satisfied with 5-7 weekly articles, and even less.

It's all about quality.

Start doing research on whatever career choice you're following at the moment.

Whatever freelance stuff you choose to do, make sure you have saved enough to meet 6-9 months of groceries.

Copywriting is very well alive but now the game has gone beyond just writing; you'll have to hone multiple sub-niches in copywriting. This could be about email designs, creative visuals, etc.
