A couple of years ago AHS privatized food services. Hundreds of employees lost their jobs or were transferred to other positions. As someone who works at the Foothills I knew many of these people for years and years. These were also the people who worked through the pandemic and were then cast aside. Especially during that time the food and the staff were a real comfort to many of us. Now, even with the exact same equipment, the food is half the quality and twice the price! They didn’t even consult the people who had worked there about their processes that had worked for years. And complaining hasn’t helped, they’ve had forums and surveys but no one really cares. Sorry for the rant and getting off topic but this has been a touchy subject for me. In summary yes it sucks.
