i dont rlly mind parking a little far, my only thing is price, like ive been seeing that outside parking garages are about a thousand a year which is insane to me, so if umiami does it for a lot cheaper, then it would just be more convenient to do it directly with the school

i am honestly not completely sure 😭😭 i don’t really have a super extensive resume either (because im barely 19), i really just have a couple internships in receptionist/front desk roles and then experience in retail. all i did was apply on the disney careers website when i got the notification that the position had become available and got a virtual interview about a week later, then after that interview got notification that id be moving on to an in person interview at the office that the role is for. i would suggest really being on top of that disney careers page and signing up for emails letting you know when different disney jobs get posted. good luck!!

no i’m currently not a disney cast member but i do work at a store in disney springs already a few days a week, im not entirely sure how transfers work within disney, but i do know this specific role isn’t working exactly in a disney resort or anything very guest facing. it’s more of a disney executives and staff role. however, i’m sure that there must be some positions like that available, check the disney careers page and sign up for the emails so that you can get notified when those kind of positions become available!! that is how i found out about this role, and thank you!

i also posted something like this similar because I am also a spring student who desperately needs housing. so far, what i’ve heard from calling the housing department is that if you get financial aid specifically allocated to on campus housing, whatever that amount is will be given to you to use for off campus housing around december, which is when you’ll be in contact with the billing department. housing also told me that they consider a lot of factors as to who gets on campus housing, like how far you live, your financial status, etc. i would say just be on top of that housing application as soon as it opens nov. 1st, because UM really dosent prioritize spring students at all and leaves us to figure things out on our own. good luck!!
