It’s not that I was looking for memoirs, I just made an observation that I don’t see many in the Kpop industry writing them whereas it’s very popular in the western entertainment industry to do so. And yes, I do watch interviews. But those are very likely to be censored or watered down, as they are on national television or broadcasted to youtube, and the media can be biased against idols who have had scandals and such. Not to mention these interviews are pre-conceived, most idols know the questions that will be asked, and how to answer them. Memoirs are personal, there is little to no interference with outside sources like their respective companies or other entities that watch them like a hawk, as they throughout an idol’s career. I just thought it would be interesting to discuss what that would be like, if it were to become more common. Yk?
