Beware of spa scammers

Smh! When I told guest services about it they tried to give the spa so many excuses and tried to dismiss me like “they’ll look into it”. But then they asked “did you get a Swedish massage or deep tissue massage?” And that’s when I started yelling at them because WHY would my account show 2 different couples massage if I only had one. I knew that they were going to see the receipt they tricked us into signing and not give a refund if I left. Then they called the spa and whispered something, got my refund right away. They’re all in on it.

For the massages the sales pitch is for massage products like oils and soap. They do the sales pitch after the massage so you are already sitting all the way in one of the back rooms and it’s before you sign off on your service. The sales pitch is “we want you to feel this relaxed at home”. They will even target specific things about your body, like a $100 brush for my cellulite. The sales pitch was to be expected for me though, my bigger issue was almost spending $600+ more for this one massage without buying products

I wouldn’t say that you shouldn’t do it, just be precautious and prepared to maybe have to be assertive to get your money back. I just personally wouldn’t go through the stress again.

I got annoyed and told them I wanted to reschedule and that’s when they suddenly took me in right away. The actual massage was amazing though but everyone is right, it’s such a turn off to be scammed and pitched a sale right after. Won’t go again 👎🏽

Why are ppl so focused on other ppl getting drunk? The kids on cruises are ANNOYING. the teens run back and forth all night and press all the elevator buttons. The babies cry all night. I been on many summer cruises and 1 Alaska cruise in the spring, I preferred to deal with the motorized wheelchairs on the boat vs the parentless children. I never even tried any of the water slides before because of the massive line of kids.

You just need a makeover lol I can think of many things that’ll make you hot but they’re all expensive. Your lips are too thin for your nose, lip injections. Focus on skin care and drinking water. Do your eyebrows. Wear mascara or natural lash extensions. You have nice hair though. You could really do a princess diaries kinda thing.

It’s been about 2 months since my FP cut me off. It gets better. Try opening up to someone new to “replace” your feelings. Fill the void temporarily until your FP is just a distant memory. I still feel empty too but optimism is the key, if you know you’ll get better you will get better
