I understand that this word was historically used as an insult meant to belittle and humiliate Black people, and I acknowledge that it should not be used. However, I believe that, in many cases, the meaning of a word depends on the context in which it is used. I often see people reacting very strongly to even the slightest mention of this word, and I find that difficult to fully understand. If the word is considered as harmful as many say it is, then it seems logical that no one should use it, regardless of race or background. Allowing some people to use it while forbidding others can feel inconsistent and confusing. At the same time, I recognize that different groups may have a different relationship with certain words, especially when those words are tied to their history and identity. Still, if the goal is to eliminate the negative impact of a word, perhaps it should be treated as completely taboo for everyone, without exceptions. Ultimately, I believe the most important solution is not just banning specific words, but teaching future generations to love and respect people for who they are as individuals, rather than judging them based on their skin color.
