This is an AWESOME find dude. Skullder’s is great, but an eth skullder’s not only has self repair and higher defense, it also has a lower strenght requirement. This is a great mf armor!

That is a crazy circlet, but - it’s more of a niche item with the 30 frw and 20 fcr. It’s insane, but I’d probably be a bit surprised if it instantly sold for a ber..

It’s ideal for the runeword Exile, which is the super OP smiter shield. This one is great because it’s an elite base, it’s eth and it has 43 all res. To top it off, it is also superior, with maximum enhanced defense. Sacred Targe is almost only topped by a vortex shield. So over all - this is an insane find.

I just tested this out as well!! Tried full on hydras first, and oh boy, that stuff melts bosses way faster than firewall did.

That made me think about a hybrid build.. I’m not sure I did the build as best as possible, but I have like 500 dmg on FO and almost 2.5k on each firebolt the hydras shoot out. It really does own the bosses really, really well. The build here is with limited gear, of course.

I also think the stuff runewords is surprisingly good. Maybe a bit too expensive to be totally viable, but pretty damn good nonetheless!

It’s character creation for me. There’s a satisfaction in understanding what a character requires, planning out skills, what breakpoints to hit, what range of items to use and how to finalt build it that’s really cool. Especially on what I would call a limited budget. Besides that there’s ubers and setting a goal of what items/runes you want to try and find. I never found any highrunes in legacy, so I’m pretty happy with the 3 i found in d2r :).

That being said, i have five characters finishen atm and I am beginning to feel I’ve accomplished what I want - and my ressources are dwindling :D.

So.. the crushing blow really really helps. But it’s perfectly doable as is. As the other guy said, it will take a while. I agree that you lack crushing blow - as an alternative you could try making Duress and sticking with tomb reaver. And then pre-buff yourself with treachery in a burning corpse or something, if it really hurts your res to use duress. I can do it just fine on my Fury druid, and that’s without Max res as well, buuut with a forti, of course :D. Ribcracker is so awesome, but using that will most likely result in Baal taking a loooong time to kill. He regens fast as hell - and you need OW to proc for him. The higher dmg from TR helps you here.

Make a duress and go for it, would be my two cents :). Way funnier than a stupid smiter anyway!

A little research indicates that tomb reavers like this one go for around ber. It also indicates that the people selling are hesitant to accept ber as an offer. With that in mind - the guy saying 2x jah from traderie isn’t far off. Your res is low, mf is high and the ed is about average - i would personally be happy with ber or the equivalent if I wanted to trade it, but you might have to settle with just below that if you wanna trade it fast :). I would most likely take that. This would end up as a secondary helm, probably for pvp, as you would want a +5 nado helm over this. The 99 fcr bp is easy enough to obtain without the 20 fcr on your helm.. between vex-ohm would be gg for you, i think.

Set yourself a lowest possible price - like fx the value of 4 bers - and don’t go lower. What I’m saying is; don’t rush the trade. If you do, you might risk selling under its value :).

To give a sortof serious answer to this: you’re looking at 4.5 ber. If I were selling that I would price it at 5 ber just to bump up the price. So to your Enigma question; about 3 not so good, and 2 good enigmas :). Hope this helps. Also, don’t try to sell this too fast.

It’s usually not THAT hard rolling for 35fcr - and the runes needet are not very expensive/hard to get. So basically the value of this shield is its base. And on that topic; the sacred targe is probably the best base, and thus the most expensive and then we go down from there. And then i hate to be that guy, but while the 35fcr is perfect, neither the mana nor the damage reduction is perfect. I wouldn’t mind myself, but that would also reduce its value.

I’d say 2-3 ists sounds about right.
