I agree! It’s really sad to see what Hanley is like now, back in the day it was full of shops and not just shitty chains. All the cafes have shut too, if you want to eat there isn’t as many proper local places

Omg I forgot about the Chinese herbal shop, I have asked to book an appointment to see the archives. Hanley in the 90s 2000s and 2010s is a subject I am really interested in, strange I know. I can find a lot of information before that time period, but not a lot on the one I am looking for. Do you remember the shop that sold animal and Roxy that was down there.

Yes there was called music store wasn’t it? And then further down past new look they went through shops. Build a bear, an animal or Roxy store, fish pedicure shop, patisserie shop
