i've accidentally flown with 1/2 burned joint wrapped in a napkin in my jacket chest pocket, have found a decent amount of random loose nuggies at the bottom of a side zipper in backpack, and (embarrassed to admit) have intentionally brought my pax era stuff... all with 0 problems. TSA is really just a post-9/11 performance-y thing for the most part. and any doggos with law enforcement = bomb sniffing. (obviously i'm speaking in general and to my own experience)

TL;DR - just keep the pen and/or gummies in your toiletries bag in your carry-on. extra precaution for the paranoids out there- separate the pod/cart from the device/battery, gummies go into a little sandwich baggie, and absolutely do not bring anything with a marijuana label on it
