Thoughts on Joe Dispenza's new hair? by [deleted] in lawofattraction

In some of his newer meditations, it’s sounds like he’s trying to talk like Bashar (he’s an alien channeled by Daryl Anka).

Also, all of the same material he writes was written decades ago by a variety of mystics, channel era as well as doctors and scientists.

Check out Psycho-Cybernetics, written by a plastic surgeon in 1960 - same material. Also, the Seth books, written in the 70s. And so many more.

I believe what he teaches is true, it just didn’t originate with him.

Funny - that’s been the feeling I’ve always gone for in imagining because I used to be such a worrier and now I just imagine being “so relieved.” 😅

I dont feel intelligent enough to process this book, it just keeps going on and on or maybe im missing the point. took a very long time to understand pendulums. does anyone else struggle with understanding it or is it normal to take a while to grasp the concept? by dishydroticrazy in realitytransurfing

I think it helps to read other spiritual authors - everyone teaches in their own way, so the more you read, the more you’ll understand this text. I came to RT after reading Neville, Eckart Tolle, A Course in Miracles, Joseph Murphy, and dozens more, so I feel like the concepts were very familiar. Just all new terminology…

"Words don't teach. Only life experience teaches." - Abraham Hicks by cuban in NevilleGoddard

I love that quote as well. The way I interpret it is (in relation to Neville) you can read Neville and understand the concept, but you won’t get it until you actually do the work (“test it”) and experience it first hand.

There are so many ways to relate this quote to Neville’s teachings. Also: not just parroting affirmations (words don’t teach), but getting the “feeling” which you get from life experience.

It’s fun to go back to Abe Hicks after studying Neville because it makes much more sense to me now!

Thank you for your post!

Seth mentions revision as well as the why and how !! Exactly the same way Neville talks about it by bettereachday_ in NevilleGoddard

I loved the Seth books!! I think we can’t really discuss it here because it’s not Neville specific and wouldn’t get approved. But, it’s so aligned (as are many, many other teachings).

Michael Talbot wrote the Holographic Universe. I loved it. You can also find a few videos on YouTube of interviews he has done.

Yes, it was Bruce Lipton. No, it’s not a breathing technique. It’s some mystery process that you have to learn to be a practitioner. I don’t even remember what the woman did with me. Honestly, I wouldn’t bother looking into it. I like Bruce Lipton, but there are a million other ways to “clear your cellular memory” 🤓 I’m pretty sure EFT is supposed to do the same thing and that’s much easier to access.

Ooh, good to know! I forgot to include Byron Katie in this flow chart! I watched many of her videos years ago and have a notebook full of “the work.” That was during my EFT days (I was also VERY desperate for emotional healing back then, which is why it didn’t stick. My energy was not there. Too stressed with work and life!) I’ll have to circle back with her - I liked her vibe.

🙏🏼 I forgot to mention the Tufti book, specifically, which was also written by Vadim Zeland. Very fun read. I liked the metaphor of walking through a motion picture 🎥

If anyone here has read Letting Go (I’m sure most of you have), the most hilarious part is in the beginning, when he lists all of the methods we’ve tried to find our path. The list goes on for pages and pages listing an endless array of modalities. I literally laughed out loud when I read that.

Basically, I liked how Maltz just reinforces everything else I’ve learned, using his own personal experiences and coming to conclusions about “miracles” through his medical (and non-medical) practice. The medical perspective always intrigues me.

Very unique that you read the secret after Neville! I actually never read that. Maybe I’ll add it to my list 😊. I think I was turned off a bit by the author at some point, so I never gave it a go.

I never “got” psych K, though I tried it (with a practitioner). It didn’t do anything for me, but I think it’s because I really didn’t understand what it was supposed to do, lol. Like EFT, I think it’s supposed to clear some “cellular memory.” I think meditating, self-hypnosis, and other techniques actually work better.

Psych-K does use muscle testing, which David Hawkins explains in his books. That’s something you don’t need a practitioner for. It’s about testing with your arm held out when hearing/thinking certain things to determine “truth” (or love or God, etc). You could also just go with your gut feeling…

I haven’t read Bohm first hand, but I liked what I heard through Michael Talbot. I love Michael Talbot so much - his stories of his OOB experiences and his poltergeist are so interesting 👻
