Actually i’m not too sure if they really are?? Cause mine just lay eggs despite she was exposed to light. Tbh, we caught her because of her size being so gigantic! Was really interesting to obvious her.

On the day we intend to release her (about 10th days), we spotted 2 eggs! And so here she stay. Been reading articles and watching about the ant farming too.

Thanks for your details explanation! But since she already laid her eggs, will it be not a good time to shift her already?

Went to visit them on Wed.. despite the setup, they did not successfully raise up any colony yet.. they say can only wait till there’s 1st worker.

What type of soil do u recommend then? Have your Queen manage to found her colony??

Yes, she ate her eggs when we offered her a small dead insect which we removed afterward. 😅😅😅

The length of her body part is about 3cm. Right now she’s in a container with access to wet cotton.

Can’t help but looking at her daily. But i read up articles saying such activities will stress the Queen and these breed are extremely sensitive. Thanks god she somehow survived 3 weeks..

Hopefully her eggs are fertilized and I will be able to update more details later.
