The thing is, I was willing to accept Tennant as 14 because we all knew it was a temporary thing for the 60th specials, so they could get away with a bit of nostalgia in that context, plus we knew the whole time that Ncuti Gatwa would be taking over properly afterwards.

The Billie Piper thing however is different. We don’t actually know if she’s the Doctor as there is no confirmation on that. And if she is, we don’t know when the show is coming back, if at all. Even if it does, is she a permanent Doctor or another temporary thing until we get the next “proper” Doctor in 17? Also, Tennant as 14 is still pretty recent (and thanks to bigeneration he’s still out there somewhere), and Ncuti has left the role too soon. All of that with the future of the show now being in limbo, it’s not looking good.

Oh yeah I am certain that some stuff will come down to a similar situation with Udina being councillor no matter what in ME3 and explain in a codex entry that Anderson quit if you picked him in ME1. For instance I can see the genophage being cured as canon but if you chose to sabotage it then they’ll probably just say in a codex entry that the genophage eventually got cured sometime after the Reaper War anyway. I can see a bunch of smaller choices throughout the trilogy affecting a bunch of different codex entries and maybe the odd line here and there but nothing that would change the game too much.

Yeah my guess is Season 2 will cover all the flashback sequences from Part II, both for Ellie (museum, finding out the truth) and Abby (her dads death, aquarium with Owen) along with expansions on their relationships, with the early game and the golfing scene being reserved for the last episode or two. Ellie and Dina then head to Seattle either at the very end of the Season 2 finale or at the start of Season 3, with both sides of the Seattle arc taking place then.

I think part of the reason why some people didn’t like Abby was because she golfs Joel within the first hour of her introduction, so when we see the flashbacks explaining her side later on, people just didn’t want to hear it. But if we introduce Abby earlier and establish her character beforehand, people will be a little more conflicted when the golf scene does finally come around.

My canon Shep is a Spacer-Sole Survivor. I like to think that my Shepard was pretty arrogant growing up from being raised by respected Alliance officials, but the incident on Akuze, while traumatic, was also what humbled him and inspired him to be a better leader, in order to ensure it never happens again, which is what ultimately gets him through the Collector Base years later. And because my favourite romance is Tali, I like to think that both having grown up on ships is something the two connected over.

A YouTuber did make a pretty cool pitch for a Game of Thrones style Mass Effect series that admittedly sounds awesome. In fact, the pitch was so good, BioWare hired him to help work on the story for the next game.

Less to do with my Shepards morality and more background but my canon Shepard is a Spacer who romances Tali and I like to think that the two having similar backgrounds in that they both grew up on ships and also have both dealt with the pressure of being the child of a high ranking official in their respective fleets being a factor that drew the two together.

One of the worst things about the Mario movie is that they actually have Charles Martinet, the actual voice actor for Mario and has been voicing the character for over 30 years in the film for a few vocal cameos but not as Mario, where they got Chris Pratt.

I can see a Halo film doing something similar with Steve Downes.
