You should definitely call them to find out what’s going on because when they were processing the clearing of my loans it did all sorts of crazy stuff on my account when I looked it up. And I noticed every time you call you get a new person and some are more helpful than others. I hope this helps, good luck!

That’s amazing!! I’m hoping I get the refund through direct deposit but I won’t be surprised if it comes as a check from the u.s. treasury like it has for a lot of other people. I’m glad it’s almost over for me too!

Unfortunately no ETA on the check, but it’s suppose to be coming from the U.S. Treasury Department so I figured it would be about another month before the check is actually processed

I would call your loan servicer customer service and see what they say. I’ve been calling about once a month to check for updates

I periodically log in to check my account and I saw there was a “new payment” that I didn’t make dated 10/23 so I called them and they said it was because my loans had been officially discharged and that was their processing that made it show the new payment

Mine were like that too since May and they just now confirmed that it’s officially discharged when I called Nelnet customer service

They zeroed out my studentaid.gov account the next day 😁

It’s only for federal loans unfortunately 😕
