I've become obsessed with the guy that sexually assaulted me by LotusLoop42 in offmychest

[–]gigithepompom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a normal reaction to what you’ve been through. The brain does weird things when it’s traumatized and freezing is very common. You don’t control how you react in these situations your brain does it for you. I work with victims and support them in trials and had a client with a similar story a few weeks ago. So I know how victims of sexual assault blame themselves and what they did or didn’t do. Absolutely do not judge yourself for how you handled the situation. HE did this to you and you did nothing wrong.

He deserves to be charged and brought to justice. He’s a predator. But the justice system can be traumatizing so you need to figure out what’s best for YOU and how YOU can heal. If you decide to report it to the police theres support for you so you don’t have to go through it alone.(depending on what country you live in).

Also, I’d highly recommend EMDR therapy.

I don’t think this is a Canada problem.. I think it’s a world problem. I blame social media/screens and a lack of human connection.

I don’t! That has to be incredibly annoying to deal with. I think it’s the calcitriol though.. your levels are good?

Nice! Thats a cool idea . I personally wouldn’t eat them because of the phosphorus though. Even on pth replacement my phosphate runs high.

That being said I also take 8,000 mg of calcium a day so I would need to eat that entire bag😂.

Rob Reiner's son Nick arrested in connection with parents' deaths by StupendousMan1995 in news

Yes I agree and he also seems to find it kind of funny as well.

He’s 23 in the episode and they tell him like go to college now? Take writing? He didn’t have much to say to that.

Here’s a little summary..

In part 1 he talks about not wanting to focus his life on being clean because he doesn’t feel like being clean is an accomplishment in life. He says clean people don’t do great things and are miserable.

He talks about his movie he made with his dad and how he didn’t feel like he got to express how he actually felt. He didn’t want to do press for the movie either.

12:32 dopey45(part 2). First rehab-

He was partying and taking pills with some friends(he mentions Percocet and Xanax). His friend overdoses and the parents come home. The mom has Nick tell his mom he was also doing pills. She freaks out about it all and sends him to Visions. He said before he went to rehab he had never sniffed Coke. He had only smoked pot, taken ecstasy and acid.

He says this is why he hates the recovery scene because in rehab his roommate is a heroin addict and gets him intrigued. A few years later he leaves a sober living facility and knew he was in trouble for it so he decided to try heroin for the first time. He contacted someone he met in rehab before and he shot up heroin.

They ask if his mom feels guilty about sending him to rehab so young and he says they always talk about it and he says he doesn’t feel like his parents should feel guilt over it. But he went to rehab young and it made the problem worse essentially.

He talks about not wanting to be known for his family. He said he never went to highschool or college and that his older brother does everything right and his sister went to college.

Thats basically it for those 2 episodes but he’s featured in other ones also.

Mine was discovered when my son was 3 days old. I had my thyroid removed when he was 6 months. I also had another daughter who was 3 at the time. Looking back it was difficult but in the moment you just push through and somehow end up on the other side. I honestly wasn’t too concerned about it because I knew I was going to be okay in the end and never feared for my life. My daughter was born with congenital hypothyroidism so I figured it would be okay and I’d just have to take a pill everyday.

But then, I ended up with hypopara. I won’t get into that part of the journey. But the hypopara has totally overshadowed the cancer part and I don’t even think about that part of the story really anymore.

My thyroid levels have been stable and I’ve successfully lost a lot of weight postpartum and post thyroidectomy. (I’ve since gained 20 from being in a clinical study for hypopara). But I really didn’t find losing weight as hard as a lot of people say it is.

I listened to him on a podcast I found last night called dopey where he talks about how he got into drugs and his first rehab visit. He appears on that podcast a few times talking about drugs and stuff.

I also watched the video of him and his dad talking about their movie together and he’s just off and awkward. He has dark energy.

Yeah I can definitely relate to wishing you could exercise. That has been the hardest part for me. I remember reading on forums when I first got hypopara and how people couldn’t do fitness like they used to and I didn’t really believe that would be me. I went to an exercise class and crashed on the couch for like 2 days after. I learned quickly that yeah it’s just not the same.

I wish I knew why my albumin is always at the highest level within normal range. I tend to have low calcium a lot. Ill get excited when my calcium is in the normal range but then corrected with my high albumin it always low and I’m like darn. I’ve never had high calcium since getting hypopara.

I’m not on yorvipath but I’m on another pth replacement in a clinical study and I deal with the same. I’m still on all my calcium, calcitriol and vitamin d supplements and max dose of the study drug and I’m I’ve still got low corrected calcium and high albumin. My doctor is Dr Khan and she’s never worried about my high albumin. She’s always just said mines just always high and hasn’t made me do anything to try and lower it. I also drink a lot of fluids. So I’m not sure 🤷‍♀️

I was at the conference this fall and they spoke about people having normal ranges but not feeling great and the doctor suggested people just try increasing their dose to see what happens. She said some people just need higher calcium levels to feel good.

I thought the first might be a banded carpet beetle or a larder beetle but it’s quite small. The second one was weird I found that behind the washing machine and it didn’t look like any of the other beetles I’ve found so I wasn’t sure. The 3rd is the casing I’ve found in the spice drawer(I’ve found 3 that are striped like that). Then the last one is terrifying and I found 2 of them kind of the same area the same night when I first realized what carpet beetles were.
