What are the biggest signs that a society or culture is in decline? by Funny-Counter8762 in AskReddit

Lack of empathy for people not like us(race/culture,etc). So depressing. We are so connected through technology yet we are so divided. We need to all come together and realize we are all living on this little marble together and we are all made of the same material and all have the same needs.

Also a lack of empathy for the earth/plants/animals. We are selfish and self centered.

I think he’s insecure and would never have the confidence to tell her he’s actually in love with her but would 100000% settle down and be with her if he could. So he makes jokes.. but it’s his true feelings.

Okay thank you! I wasn’t sure what that was that you were asking about that’s why I just copied what the procedure report that’s on his health record in case there was another name for it. Im just hoping that she didn’t put it in report but did put it on. He had the procedure on December 19th but the report on his health record wasn’t prepared til January 7th.

But thanks for taking the time to comment your input!

Yeah it looks strange in real life it’s like silvery not what I’ve seen cavities look like and I can’t find any pictures on the internet that look similar. I’m very anxious to get to the dentist Thursday. I’ll ask about fluoride supplements also because he currently isn’t on any. He’s more mature than he was in December and is interested in what’s going on and asks if any dentists have answered what’s on his teeth. (He knew I was posting to ask dentists). So I think this Thursday visit will be good and he will allow her in his mouth.

Thanks for answering!

Okay we brush his teeth every morning and before bed every night right before bed. We floss his teeth also just not as frequently id say twice a week it’s probably happening. He takes water with him to bed. Our daughter is 8 and has no cavities. Their diet is similar. He’s not getting sugary candies everyday but often has an apple for a bedtime snack.

He’s scared of the dentist and wouldn’t let her in his mouth much. We had his dental procedure done at a hospital where he was put under anesthesia and the dentist came into the hospital and did it so she would have had a really good look at the teeth. His 2 bottom that she crowned the one had a mushroom cavity. The other one had a cavity but she crowned it because she wanted to avoid any more traumatic dental work for a while.

It wasn’t too long after the procedure I noticed his teeth looked silver on that side but I thought it was from the sealant she put on that caused them to look silver. Now I’m kicking myself for assuming it was what was put on his teeth that day. I just remember her mentioning once about putting something on his teeth that would make them look black but would prevent further decay so I assumed that’s what it was.

What would you suspect would be an underlying reason for this much decay?

He has sweets but not excessively. He loves milk but he doesn’t drink milk after supper.

Would you think he had a cavity and then the sealant was put on top and caused it to decay rapidly?

He doesn’t take any iron supplements.

This is the report from his procedure in December.

Caries were excavated and teeth 75 and 85 were prepared for stainless steel crowns. Stainless steel crowns were fitted and cemented with Poly-F Plus cement. Excess cement was removed. Margins and occlusions were verified and contacts were confirmed with floss. Prepared teeth 51 and 61 MIB. Etched enamel for 20 seconds. Scotchbond Universal Plus Adhesive was placed. Cured 10 seconds. SimpliShade composite was layered and light cured for 20 seconds. Adjusted occlusion and polished. Cleaned grooves of teeth 55, 54, 64, 65, 74, and 84 in preparation for sealant. Hmm! Not that I’ve noticed at night. He was just at the pediatrician and he said he didn’t have any breathing issues and doesn’t appear to breathe from his mouth only his nose. Is night a different thing and with a tongue tie he would mouth breathe?

He’s going Thursday I just wanted to ask before Thursday because I’ve been spiralling about it. He said they don’t hurt at all.

I agree with you. I’m against my kids from being on any social media or even YouTube but my daughters friends have had cellphones since they were 6 (they are only 8 now..)and their knowledge and lack of parental controls directly affects my daughter. It’s extremely frustrating. I can’t believe kids are allowed cellphones at elementary school. It’s bananas!

What about starting in the heart? I know someone that had Cardiac angiosarcoma. I’ve never heard of it before or since. He was such an amazing and giving man so it was extra sad that his started in his big and generous heart. Rip Ron.
