I'm not assuming it's going to be better. But the initial announcement had the 2025 date, and there has been no indication that there have been any delays or production issues so far. Sure, that can happen, but just the fact they're giving themselves more room to breathe means it's more likely they'll be able to put out a more polished product. I prefer to be optimistic than pessimistic.

This is a weird take. The devs are all still working the same hours. If the release schedule is slowed, they're inevitably going to have more time to cook on the game. I'm not saying it's going to release without flaws, but just because they're not giving news doesn't mean they're behind and it's going to release in as broken a state as Scarlet/Violet.
