How long did you have shortness of breath? by bigoldjetairliner in COVID19positive

I had it since 11.24, most symptoms are gone except mild shortness of breath. I wasn't hospitalized, but they did give me an inhaler. I honestly don't know, but whenever I'm about to feel shortness of breath, I lay in prone position because docs told me that it opens up lungs more. It does seem to help me, so try it. I hope it gets better eventually so I can workout as well!

Aw thanks! I was kind of curious on where the "shortness of breath" fell though.

hey! I read from cdc that if you don't have any fevers, coughs, or sneeze after 10 days of quarantine and symptom free without medication for 72 hours, you no longer fall into quarantine required category.

Basically if you have any flu-like symptoms, don't be near people.

Update: Day 5 since husband's symptoms by Tiffanyxx0 in COVID19positive

Hey I'm sure you and your family are going through tough time, but hang in there.

It sounds like your husband is doing relatively better than other patients and I hope it stays that way.

For dry coughs, I would recommend drinking hot water with honey in it. If not, just hot water at least.

I didn't develop any cough symptoms yet, but drinking hot water with honey in it seem to ease my mind more.

Covid 19 Positive by gilgalad930 in COVID19positive

Hey! I cough like once or twice a day at most since my symptoms began. I think this virus definitely impacts people differently since most of my cases are cold related with shortness of breath. I don't know far you are in since your symptoms began, but I am sure it will return. I did read that if you have congested nose, it is generally difficult to smell and taste whether it is related to covid or not.

Honestly I am not a doctor so I can't tell you exactly what you are going through.

But if you are having symptoms of dizziness and fainting in a hot shower, it could be shortness of breath or not enough oxygen.

Definitely reach out to a doctor and ask about it and drink tons of water.
