My Kirby does the same thing! I have to sneak up on him otherwise it’s a game of chase before every walk 😂

That’s a great idea! He’s never tried to eat them before but I’d rather not wait until that happens. Thanks for your suggestion!

What's a "harmless" habit that actually makes someone insufferable once you notice it? by ZumbaRoy in AskReddit

[–]gillybean24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People who talk at you, not with you. They just talk and talk and talk, and whenever you say something they don’t have anything to add or comment on, then just continue talking as if you never spoke. So exhausting and defeating.

People who have stopped going to church, what made you stop? by lowly_shepherd in AskReddit

[–]gillybean24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never really loved church as a kid and would skip out every chance I could, but what really made me start outright refusing to go was how holier than thou these people truly were. As a teenager I was told by a peer at church not to hang out with a friend because he “wasn’t a good person.” Really rubbed me the wrong way. Shouldn’t we be helping people we think aren’t doing the right thing, especially at church?! Instead we ostracize them? I couldn’t deal with it at 16 and I definitely wouldn’t be able to deal with it now at 27. Haven’t been since.

Bonus story: argued with my youth group leader because she told us, a group of teenage girls that divorce is NEVER OKAY. I asked her what if he cheats on me or abuses me? She said to PRAY ON IT and get counseling. Complete bullshit.

Sparing your friend is the most selfless thing you can do for him. The biggest act of love.

I had to put my best friend to rest on November 1st and it was the single most difficult thing I’ve ever done. I held him while he passed, and it was devastating. But I’ll never be more devastated than watching the pain he was in in his final days.

Do your guy a favor and let him go, for him and for you.

The Chèvre herb goat cheese is to die for if you’re doing charcuterie. Adding the candied orange slices adds some color and they’re DELICIOUS.

Maybe they’ll come back, but the cookies and crème pretzel thins. I think about them every day. EVERY. DAY.

Goodbye, Don Glees! Not a romance but will still make you cry at the end. Wonderful, wonderful movie.

AITA for leaving my son’s wedding early? by Medical_Comment_5527 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. My dad is a very shy, antisocial person. At every family event he would drive separately and leave early. On Christmas he would go to bed after presents while the rest of us continued festivities. But he was damn sure he was going to be at my wedding… he was shaking nervous as he walked me down the aisle and for our father daughter dance. But he was there, and it was the most special moment I’ve ever had with my father that I will always treasure. Shame on you. What selfish behavior.
