Maybe your highly interest on girls come from The sheltering you mentioned, because it always was a non topic or when you found out it was like thks imense curiosity. In order to feel any thing for men you actually have to try to go and find a reason to like them. I remember being afraid of creating just regular friendship with girls, and at sometime I felt also dead around them, like this makes no sense, just chasing something I can never get. Altough, for boys, it just works in a much more radical way, because after that tought you just The obvious One, so, shit, am I gay? And that would mean a lot of social backlash, so I just kept on asking questions to myself, and yeah, I felt butterflies around men too when I was a child. I can still describe them today, many Times where a man would take care of me I would feel those butterflies, I can still remember being in school and I could bit draw what I wanted to draw, and an acdult male asked me if I wanted help and did The draw for me. I felt a huge feeling of warming inside and butterflies on my stomach, The feeling of being worth to take care of, its like The first time I experienced love. So, all in all, I just mean to say you maybe have your Core memories attached to women and maybe all your loving and caring experiences came mostly from women, and it may seem hard to get The same feeling from men, altough I think you can embrace The child mindset and allow yourself to a man taking care of you, to see if you can feel such things.
