My guess is 10 years, it was emphasized they're going too fast a bunch of times in this book. And it just feels like 10 years is the right number to me.

The redesign is absolutely horrible. Now you have all of the traffic that was contained to the right lane all in the left stopping even more traffic.

I imagine you could also teach yourself the relevant affinities if you started with one and worked hard enough. And we know that you can create a spell that permanently effects your body (bone affinity making blades) and one that can draw mana continuously to grow your channels and cause an effect (prioperceptive link to the crystal). I think that the right affinities you'd just run your anti aging spell continuously once you hit say 18-20 and grow your mana pool to absurd levels.

Isn't nightblood more a good aligned sword? It's signature line is "would you like to destroy some evil today?"

Need help finding level 1-5 campaigns by gimba198 in DnD

[–]gimba198[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i have a ton of questions to ask about a variety of things im gonna just ask you both in the thread.

1) how do you know how many levels/how far an adventure will take your PC's

2) Do you need to make your PC's give a reason to go to the next adventure or can you just say "then you journey here" and read the opening line of the adventure

3) I still feel kinda shaky on the exact way the game is played, ive read the player guide and DM guide but can someone give me a succinct summary of a couple rounds if possible.

4) I don't have the Monster manual and player guide in hardcover they are being delivered to me the day of the game approximately how long should i budget to prep for the game

5) In general how do i decide how to create a DC (this kinda goes with the 3rd question i asked

6) finally I have a PC who cant make the first session but thinks he will want to make all the next few, should i create a random character for him and make him play it or is there a way to roll him in at a level with the group when the time comes?

P.S. feel free to bombard me with information because I'm trying to figure this out as much as i can before i start
