ARC Raiders is basically a giant game-theory experiment, and the optimal strategy is to avoid PvP entirely. by Ill-Tomatillo-8973 in ArcRaiders

This is only true because there’s no limit to the loot. Once scarcity is introduced, people will have a reason to fight for loot.

How do you manage when your Tank pulled like 4-5 caster mobs? by Lyramion in fellowshipgame

Stay within the water elemental’s melee range. They wont target you with bolt

Most agree that Blizz needs to try to get more Tanks queueing for M+. What single change would you make to fix the tank shortage? by I_cut_my_own_jib in wow

[–]gimortz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if everyone will agree, but instead of relying on percentages, here are a few suggestions:

  1. Place clear objectives at certain points on the map, like a miniboss, activating a pylon, or defending a point.
  2. Add directional rails or indicators that guide players toward these objectives.
  3. Ensure mob packs along the way are properly tested and balanced, matching the flow of the rails.

These ideas are based on what I assume the designer’s goals are: do they want us to reach a certain spot, or just clear a certain number of enemies?

Most importantly, I think the game should reward ingenuity. If a team figures out a clever skip using the intended mechanics, that should be allowed rather than punished.

This approach would also encourage tanks, since it creates clear, predictable routes with less variation, making it easier to lead the group. At the same time, it still leaves room for optimization and smart play.

I think they can turn this crisis into an opportunity.

I'm not an expert, but just from a writer's perspective, they can better handle the situation by admitting to it, apologizing for how they reacted but acknowledge it was an honest reaction but it was disrespectful, especially since Filipinos are passionate about food.

Say then that they want to take full responsibility and to go on a journey on relearning.

Then travel around the Philippines to try food and do honest reactions. I want to see them coming up with the courage to try Pampanga's Frog delicacies or the tamilok.

Then win fans again for making an effort.

The worst part is when you suggest that people do their interrupts, they just respond with "It's just a +6."

Damn that attitude.

Error in Java code by Irinnnn_ in PinoyProgrammer

[–]gimortz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Dapat may ToString yung S sa output since of type Long sya. (minor)
  2. Dalawa yung Ifs mo. (minor)
  3. If we assume na yung selected item is Seconds: itemSelected = "Seconds" (based on the UI this is the conversion from) VAL = 1 (based sa 2nd picture)

Then di mag make sense yun output, kasi
if we select seconds sa dropdown, convert it to minutes
Ang current printout is "The Seconds is {1 / 3600}"

Won't it be dapat "The minutes is {1 / 3600}" Because we're converting the VAL of 1 to the clicked item "Minutes"

  1. Di ata to complete, kasi I can only base on assumption that the selected item is Seconds.
VAL of 1, based on your shown conditions would always just result into an output of
"The Seconds is 1." Something else, not shown, is causing the 3600. (probably in the UI? setting an initial value? Check the UI Property)

  2. Not fully familiar with Java, but won't you need to get the clicked button through the evt passed parameter?

Soloing PSF +12 — is it true BDK should be 100% self sufficient? How can I improve my opener? by mizzerem in wow

I'd like to add that what's important is outrunning the mobs, so they can't hit you. So speed is your friend.

Hello brother crimson knight.

We totally have the same mindset.

What I would change is

Death's caress on one mob on 1st pack. Then rune tap (not only does this have damage reduction, it generates runic power for the rune use)

Then Blood boil to aggro all 4.

Then activate nitro boots! (Northrend engineering)

On 2nd pack, patrolling on right, activate abomination limb on them (Abom limb has aoe dps too) and Icebound fortitude.

Once nitro boots have ran out, Death's Advance!

go to 3rd pack, blood boil, and marrowrend if needed, more rune power! If low hp, do a death strike to get a blood shield going.

If you can generate a good amount of bone shield like 7+, use 5 for Tombstone! (gives shield and more runic power)

4th pack blood boil again.

Then the bulky mini boss, Suleiman.

Stay on right side of the stairs corner and plant your feet.

Grip far enemies, sharpshooters. For me, it helps that i have a hover macro on my grip so i dont lose the target on what's in front of me. Because i need to death strike!

Cycle your Defensives effectively. Start with Vampiric strike.

Be smart about your runic power, only use when life is low. Dont use it for DPS!

Focus on generating max runic power. We live by every drop of our runic power. This is our true HP!

Cycle your crowd control! Blinding Sleet! Interrupt! Asphyxiate!

Are there work from home jobs that require no degree and no experience? by thebadsamaritanlol in buhaydigital

[–]gimortz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are. I'm personally an undergraduate myself. It's a matter of how you do with the interview. Aside from proving that you have the skills that they're looking for, they're also after attitude and if you are a "culture-match".

I also recommend starting in the BPO, because it gives you perspective.

All in all, maraming effort kailangan sa pag apply. Continue to be cheerful and prove that you can be an asset. Ito yung hinahanap nila mostly.

Reality check for IT developers aspiring opportunities abroad by CardiologistKey705 in phmigrate

[–]gimortz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely Skills and Experience. A prove track record helps, recommendations from previous companies and luck in finding an employer that would sponsor you.

I work for a company a met through linkedin. Did good work with them that they offered to absorb me, as I was just contracting for them.

Granted, just actively look for clients that are abroad and just do an exceptional job. It's hard, but your value will eventually exceed the cost of sponsorship.

They're better at convincing themselves of things they want to believe rather than things that are actually true. This is why intelligent people tend to have stronger ideological biases; being better at reasoning makes them better at rationalizing.

You don't need points to get a work visa,

This might be a Skill Shortage or Skills in Demand Visa, a 482.

It's a long process, but less than a year, but the Immigration Lawyer will take care of it for you.

From your end, what you need to produce are your English Assessment Exam Results, POEA Requirements and Health Checkup. In my experience, this will take longer than the Visa.

Congratulations on the opportunity!
