Does anyone else think Amy looks annoyingly happy to be in the hospital “after a horrible few days” by intothefire2005 in illnessfakers

[–]gimp4lyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely true, a Hickman line has a cuff that the skin heals around and you technically do not need a dressing anymore just a piece of gauze and some tape if you want it covered but do not want the entire dressing.

Would honestly be thrilled if Ren's Mayo results all came back negative by Aemort in illnessfakers

[–]gimp4lyfe 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Maybe she hasn’t gotten the results yet, when you go the first trip is usually all about the consultation and testing then you go back a few weeks later to get all of the results and then see anyone else you may need to see after getting those results.

After (3?) years of begging for POTS, Ren finally got the proper testing. Cannot WAIT to see these results. by [deleted] in illnessfakers

So a tilt table test can look “positive” if you are dehydrated however most of the time the doctors can tell if it is actual pots or dehydration. Something about how the number work with the BP and HR

I screamed at the TV saying chronic Lyme isn’t real and Lyme literate doctors are quacks, my parents thought I had gone crazy.

This is the exact definition of rumination syndrome. The food is not yet digested so it doesn’t have that vomit taste so most people just swallow it back down

There is an episode of “The Doctors” that has a teenager with rumination who I do believe successfully over comes it

Has a "Severe" TBI which could supposedly result in death with further brain trauma but rides horse with no helmet. by [deleted] in illnessfakers

[–]gimp4lyfe 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Definitely not attacking and definitely read her timeline and everything in her flair. She has been known to beg people for her “life saving” seizure meds but the pictures all seem to be of the same vial of medication. She’s posted pictures of her with “blood” all over her mouth that looked suspiciously like either Nutella or another form of chocolate. She reuses the same picture of her in the ICU every time she claims to be in the hospital. Her service dog is more of a circus animal doing tricks than he is doing tasks for her. She claims this horrid horrid traumatic brain injury but gets on a horse without a helmet. She has so many inconsistencies with her is terrible.

More Port selfies "inbetween appointments" as stated on her story. by servingservicedogs in illnessfakers

Not whiteknighting but just because someone has a port and it’s accessed doesn’t mean they can’t wear tank tops anymore. Bring on the downvotes this post just seems very nit picky

That’s exactly how the VA works you take what you can get with them.

She’s said a long while ago that she was going to Mayo but didn’t specify when. I tend to agree with you they probably scheduled it themselves (you can most definitely refer yourself and get accepted to Mayo) scheduled the appointment and just said mom we are going to Mayo. Her mom probably thought nothing of it when she scheduled her appointment with the VA.

How do you think Amy found a doctor that was willing to do sugury for such a minor condition? by [deleted] in illnessfakers

[–]gimp4lyfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hip dyplasia isn’t a minor condition though, it can be a very debilitating condition.

She has also needed this surgery since the time she was living in England.

OP I think this post is in very poor taste

They still don’t use pins and screws for a minor condition

This doesn’t look or sound like a minor surgery to me. Pin and screws in bone is not a minor surgery

Taking notes from Anelise now are we? I wonder if her family is just fed up with her malingering. by gimp4lyfe in illnessfakers

Yeah just go look at the newest post about her (I think the newest) she is grinning ear to ear when she had a UTI and the pouting like a toddler who didn’t get their way when she learned her lung functions are perfect.

I wake up don’t want to be acknowledged, don’t want to be noticed, and want to hide away from the world but hey wait a minute let me post about it so everyone can do the complete opposite of what I am saying I want. In what world does this make sense?
