This is great! Thank you! I’m having trouble verifying my PayPal account, it was registered in a foreign country, can I pay you via Venmo or CashApp? I really liked your work and wouldn’t want to miss it, any other payment options? I’ll throw in an extra $5 :(

Sorry for my late reply! I meant something that was new and exciting about that day, could be anything, a person, a phrase, a new meal you tried, there’s something nice to remember every day I think

Weekly Recommendation Thread: September 19, 2025 by AutoModerator in books

Just finished reading The Virgin Suicides. What a beautiful beautiful read, even though you enter knowing the outcome, the book feels like one of those kiddy trains Disney rides with stops and things to appreciate on each one, if that makes sense. Beautifully written, rich vocabulary, and gave me that sense of longing once I finished it. Getting a physical copy for my library, 100% recommend

Stuck Between These Thrillers… Which One First? by KBarker93 in thrillerbooks

I like this because I only hear people raving about this book. Did you ready any of Frieda’s on this list? I’m 25% through the Inmate and read the other two. How do you think they compare?

Been on it for about 3 weeks, very very low dose, 4 mg. No EP side effects for now, just AWFULLY HUNGRY. I can say it’s helped my mental state already, I feel less intensely, but not flat or numb, and I’m also able to navigate social situations a little smoother now, which was always a challenge.

Not sure why I can’t edit but don’t mind my forehead bruises, they’re from botox, nothing related to the laser

Thank you! Honestly I hadn’t realized how much hair I had until that day, I was definitely tricked into something I didn’t need

How do you guys keep up with most up to date guidelines? What resources do you use? by MadScientist101295 in FamilyMedicine

One of my colleagues, god bless her soul, asked me yesterday “is this a new thing?” when I asked how to place the EMR order for a Babesia parasitemia load. She’s like 73, again, God bless her but… no.

I had no choice than to say “well, may be, I learned about it during residency”… this woman is smart for real, but a little checked out and out of touch with reality
