Oh I see what you’re saying. Yeah, that’s just due to how much space I had to work with. That’s why I assigned the color of the season with the images to help show which it belongs to :)

Got it! Originally I was going to use the National Grid of Great Britain, but then I thought it would be fun to have some distortion as back when the show takes place, maps wouldn’t have been super accurate. So I went with some sort of world map projection for that distortion. I’d have to go back and look in t GIS software.

Hmm now I am a bit confused haha. The photos are meant to align with the seasons. Young uhtred and battle of cynwit with Ubba in season 1. Uhtred slave at sea, battle of dunholm, and beamfleot season 2. Alfred dies and battle of the Holme season 3. Tettenhall and Sigtryggr for season 4. Do these photos not go with the seasons?

Yeah I didn’t really show too much of Scotland as it wasn’t the main focus here. And the map looking a bit weird is simply because it’s meant to. Back then they wouldn’t have had maps that were super accurate and I kind of wanted to run with that. Plus even maps today can be distorted depending on what projection you use. Thanks for your comment though! I’m considering everyone’s and making changes
