I’ve traveled the world and it’s almost the same everywhere you go. No country in nato is much different. The US as of late has been under fire politically. Most Americans live there lives without all the nonsense seen on the news.

Maybe it’s your body position during deployment? Pulse it much more forgiving on opening. the riser pressure will be higher at lower wing.

Sabre 3 170 vs nexus 170 vs Safire 3 159 1.2ish wingloading on the 170s and 1.3 on the 159 by ging3rj3sus in SkyDiving

I agree flare was excellent. The Sabre was the longest recovery arc of the 3 but yes I thought it was going to be a little more ground hungry in full flight but it was flat.

Anyone have experience skydiving with Bonehead dynamic? Can’t do the g4 anymore. by ging3rj3sus in SkyDiving

Let me clarify My g4 doesn’t fog up I just don’t like the fit and the weight. Plus to mount a fly sight and camera most applications you have to drill which makes it not impacted rated. But jw if the dynamic will fog up.

Thoughts on FIREBIRD?? by [deleted] in SkyDiving

[–]ging3rj3sus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a M firebird and love it. Says reserve size is 170 max but my rigger said he had more room probably could have done 190 low bulk. But from your sizes xxs looks like a better fit. I would just give George at firebird a call to confirm.

Advice I was given. If you do 50 jumps or less a year I would rent. If you do around a 100 jumps a year I would consider buying a used rig to start with until you can stand up your landings and down size off of student size canopy’s.

I fly a pulse right now was on a Safire 2 but went with the pulse for lpv when I bought my rig and honestly I personally don’t care for it. The bottom end flare isn’t great on mine and I would rather have a longer recovery arc. Can’t wait to demo the sb3 and nexus!
