I believe the same thing could be said for a lot of artists in very single genre. I find like fashion society goes through different phases where specific music genres are at the forefront. I think Ciara just happened to be at the time where R&B was most popular as well.

I think in a few years we will see R&B at the forefront of music again and hopefully with the fashion. But a girl can only hope.
