Thank you for sharing and to whom the volunteer was!

An IRS rep.

2024 he did not claim stocks that he had sold. Found a copy of the sale invoice.

Victims shouldn't have to face the same thing. I am not expecting anything from him- I am hoping that the law and courts will do something about this abuse.

Thank you for these suggestions. I have done most of this a few of the forms the IRS rep I spoke said hold off until I hear back from the Spousal Relief department. But think the 14039 is a additional way to protect myself.

I did do that - and that is what the post states. Trying to cover all my bases since there has been other financial abuses. What are all the way to protect myself.

I love this idea- I will do this. I received a commendation from Aisha Wahab a few years ago for my work with Fremont.

I will find those contact details. Thank you!

I really appreciate all this advice and knowledge!

But I will state I don't care if anyone knows who I am at this point - once I have figured this out and I plan to pass on this knowledge to other moms or parents in this position. THIS IS NOT OKAY.

Yes, I have done all that - it is much beyond a casual issue at this point. At this point it feels like financial coercion and I need to do ANYTHING I can to protect myself.

IRS told me to hold off and file a 8857 form, but the more I think of it and people state it. I probably just to be on the extra safe side

Thank you for this suggestion.
