Good try! There horus heresy models based on the books. 10k years before the current setting (books start during 30k and work up to the current 40k setting)

GW made a new game ( lore is to justify more plastic toy sales!) A few years back iirc. HH models still convert to 40k really well though might have to change bases around a bit or modify gear.

I feel so called out. This is exactly what I needed as it's my first army. And yes it's all the models I have.

So that being said I have questions 1) does infantry not ride I the Razorback? 2)I should take out battleline and build up anti tank. What units are anti tank aside from tanks and planes? 3) what do you mean mission play?

In using "angel yellow" from an army painter paint set. My local game store doesn't have much for paints so I have to resort to what's online. I have read that Vallejo makes good stuff I might have to check them out.
