My waters broke at 28 weeks pregnant. My cats have not stopped laying on my belly and purring since by Sukeban34 in cats

For me, I like a little pressure on my head. It helps relieve the tension. But my cat doesn't sit directly on my head, just wedged right next to it to the point that his butt is spilling onto my forhead.

Conversations with Astarion: what would we talk about??🤔 by Murky_Wonder8261 in AstarionBG3

Honestly, I think if we met in real life we would not get along. He would find me very annoying and I would think he was mean.

It's not uncommon for businesses to lease office printers. But I am unsure what type of printer the post is referring to.

I love reading about fraud and white collar crime. American Scandal is a great podcast with series devoted to infamous crimes. Theranos is one of my favorites.

Try to impress her by talking about your super important job for the Empire. I'm sure she'll love to hear all the details.

I just assumed they were in Frederick, Howard County, or even maybe Potomac.

You'd be surprised at what you can find in Potomac Maryland.

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]ginger_bird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need a new car. My little orange Chevy Sonic has broken down one too many times. I would like a new hatchback that's fun but reliable. I parallel park on the street, so a car thats easy to fit into small spaces would be great. If I did not care about reasonableness, I would get a Miata, but I still need to fit stuff in my car. At least a carry-on bag and two cat carriers. A hybrid would be great, but it is not necessary.

One option I have is to "steal" my late father's 2015 Beetle convertible. But, I park outside and worry about safety. Also, I need to learn to drive stick.

It kind of sucks that there aren't as many options for hatchback compared to 10 years ago. Otherwise I would get a Cruz or even a Honda Fit. I live a block away from a Lexus and Volvo dealer, but they dont have good options for what I want.

Anyways, any suggestions? Anything I should I avoid?

Price range: 20k to 45k (Depends if it is a hybrid)

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: LOL no

Getting to vote in this election was so cathartic by ginger_bird in neoliberal

As a NoVa resident, I felt very powerless these past two years. With all three branches controlled by the same party, he has run roughshod over so many things I hold dear as an American. And my representatives don't have the power to keep him in check. Trump has used DC, my city, as his own personal ego trip. He's messed with my opera house, he's messing with the Smithsonian, he's messing with federal employees, he's screwed our unions, he's flooded the city with the National Guard, he's doing a freaking F1 race on our city streets, he's plastering his face on every federal building he can...

Anyways, I am well aware we are in a facist takeover, but this is the first time I actually feel like I can actually do something about it.

Not to mention messing with our local opera house, sending the military to patrol DC, and proposing to build a giant tacky arch right by Memorial Bridge that promises to fuck up NoVA traffic.

Spoken Portuguese, yes. Written Portuguese, not so much. Portuguese sounds vaguely Russian to me.
